It is way to fucking hot for my life. I think I'm suffering heat stroke. And I'm supposed to be partying today. Blegh.

I'm hanging out at Cat's. Got drunk this morning and watched Star Wars. Whoo hoo.


Life's been all right. Work mostly.

Week before last my teeth started hurting again. That went on for about 4 days before the pain faded. I had made a dentist appt for last wed, but canceled it as the pain had faded and I was the only cashier sheduled that night at work. so I resheduled for today. Monday I started hurting again. Yesterday it swelled up. Betsy said I looked like Jay Leno.

Went to the dentist this morning with a still swollen jaw and in a lot of pain. They shoved an xray-a-mabobber violently in mymouth, told me it was infected, then prescribed me something to bring down the swelling but not the pain. So i'm stuck taking way too many over-the-counter meds to help the pain.

Hopefully the infection goes away soonn enough and I can go get all this pesky mouth surgury out of the way and be nearly as good as new.

In other news, my brother apparently had a stroke on sunday and didnt realize it. Then his shrink yesterday told him not to do anything about it, just if it happens again go to the ER . SO mom got all pissed off and now David has an appt at 1:30 today. HE's all paranoid about it now.

3 months without internet is driving me crazy! I still don't fully have it back either. I did get a new phone with unlimited web access, a touch screen, and a keyboard though. So I have something at least. Atill wont be able to catch up on shows though.

My life otherwise has been mostly work. With grad season here the balloon counter has been overwhelmed. I've gotten to work there a lot though, which is betterthan cashiering any day

Last night I went to see RENT, which was amazing. I got to see it with Anthony Rapp andAdam Pascal. The rest of the cast was really good as well. The actors who played Angel, Benny, and Collins were the ones from the closing cast on Broadway. The girl who played Maureen was blonde, different, but i reakly liked her.
Sadly the only people who came out the stage door were Adam, Anthony, and Nicolette(Maureen). No one else did. I did get autographs fron those three though. It was a lot of fun and i'm glad I got the chance to see them preform.

From the lobby of the Hilton at Sakura-con. Richard is letting me use his laptop so I can have some internet, which I haven't had in almost an entire month. My computer died on St. Patrick's day, and we got a new one, but it wouldn't acknowledge an internet connection. And now we're in a new house. And yeah. Life has been busy lately.

Moved into our new house. It's kind of nice to be back in Lynnwood again, though I'd just been getting used to Seattle. My poor kitty is traumatized.

Work is work-ey.

I actually don't have much to update about that won't take a reeeeeeaaaaaaalllllyyyy long post most likely under a cut anyway.


Looking forward to what promises to be a very interesting convention.

Twitter has eaten my soul. I think the appeal of it to me is the ability to follow celebrities. This might make me a girly fangirl, but the fact that Amber Benson added me back made me a little fluttery. And I loved hearing about the wrap party from half the Heroes cast. Right now I know that Dane Cook is on a flight(or was at least earlier), that Felicia Day, Amber Benson, and Brea Grant are all in Austin Texas, that James Kyson Lee is going to Hawaii tomorrow, that Shoshana Bean is in Portland, and that Micheal Ian Black possibly had a shot of Tequila earlier. Does that make me creepy? Possibly. But it's also kind of neat at the same time.


Real life has eaten my soul somewhat. Work, Lyssa, Sakura-con(costumes and junk which means more Lyssa), possibly moving. I'm getting more active at work though which is nice. And since I finally stopped my month and a half of PMS-ing(no freaking joke) I can finally enjoy work again.But last week I got to work places other than the registers. And this week I think I get to do the same. Last week I worked in Display on Monday which is nice because Display is the one section of the store I know next to nothing about. And on Wednesday I got to work at the Party section which is one of my favorite sections to work, because you get to answer the phone and blow up balloons. And I love blowing up balloons. It was also nice getting to work with my boss on Wednesday, since he was the floor manager that night. I guess since it's not Halloween-crazy-scary-busy time he wasn't as stressed out.

I've been going over to Lyssa's pretty much every weekend lately. Not that I mind too much. I like hanging out with her and junk. It's just not something I'm used to really. And she is helping me put together my costume for Sakura-con. Of which I finally think I got my room situation worked out. Huzzah!


Psych has eaten my soul. I love that show. I remember the first time I watched an episode(the tennis episode Ironically) I thought it was kind of dumb, and I didn't even finish the episode. Than my brother got really into it, so I would watch an episode here and there, or bits and pieces when David was like, "omg you have to watch this part," and it was absolutely hilarious. So Cassie and I started watching it and just finished this last week. I love Shawn to omg bits and pieces. I have a Juliet muse-thing who also has a bit of a thing for Micheal Weston, but mostly Shawn, and wants to play Elphaba in Wicked thanks to Marcie Dodd who looks uncannily like Maggie Lawson. I think she also wants to find CarltonLassie a girlfriend right now too. She just has to get over her own issues first.


Soul Eater has been less soul eaty lately, now that I've caught up on the manga. I still need to catch up on the anime now, but it's less imperative than it was when I first started watching it. Though I should catch up because the anime and manga have taken quite different turns lately.

I thought for a while I might have been growing a Death the Kid Muse, which would be weird to me since he's not my usual type of character, but I think he might have faded away.


Wicked has come burstingly back into my life lately. I think this is Eden Espinosa's fault. After watching the Filmed on Broadway version of Rent I went back to watch Eden's preformances as Elphaba. That's how I stumbled across Ms.Marcie Dodd. And now I have a full show of Eden and Megan Hilty on Broadway and am hoping to get a full show with Marcie Dodd. October can't come soon enough really. That's when Wicked's coming back to Seattle, and I am so ready for it. Also Rent this summer, supposedly with frickin' Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp. I'm mass excited for that one. I will be so so so disappointed if those two aren't there. I would absolutely love to meet the both of them. Though that means booking it to the Stage Door before the finale's finished. And that's hoping they come through the stage door.



Also, my 21st birthday is in a week. I still don't know what I'm doing for sure. Lyssa's talked about taking me out for Karaoke, but nothing concrete. I'm still deciding if I wanna get totally drunk or not. Though I do have to work the next day...

I'm going to try and start doing this every day. It's probably not going to happen, considering my wonderful track record, but I'm going to try.

Watched the first episode of Voice. Almost forgot how much I love Ikuta. And Eita's precious, though I still have to get used to his face. I think I liked his looks best in Nodame so far. Endo Yuuya's character is a huge friggin' dork. And I love this Akira guy and his mom. His mom is awesome. And he is awesome and weird. And reminds me slightly of Chinen, especially since he's apparently Okinawan in the show. However if the series continues anything like the first episode it might become too tragic for me. Because that first episode got way tragic. I'm enjoying it so far though. And whatever kid they got to play little Daiki was perfect, because he had Eita's face.



EDIT: Nope. Not any less tragic in the second episode. I think I actually sobbed harder. And now my head hurts. :| Also Eita has big ears. I keep noticing them.

Damnit Natane, you make me want to be a Sailor Scout again.

Mom needs money. She still needs to pay rent and start paying off a debt accumulated with the storage company. Mom does not have this money. Mom also has really really bad credit. So she comes home early yesterday and wants me to apply for a loan online. Okay, yeah, sure. No problem. Only after all that I can only get $500. Well that'll be enough for a down payment and they won't sell all of our stuff in storage. Oh good.

Except the loan didn't go through yet. They need yet more information. State-issued ID? I don't have that. I have a Dependants Military ID. Social Security Card? Lost somewhere in my house, probably dead. I have a recent bank statement, and pay stub, but they need more than that. Well no big deal, we'll just go tomorrow(now today) and get you an ID and new social security card. Okay. I can do that. Oh, but we have to do before 10am because my mom's appointment with my brother's DR. is at 10. (Note: this is when I normally wake up)

Okaaaaaaayyyyyyy. Is this...imperative? Do we need to get this money immediately, or can it possibly wait until Wednesday? No, it should be done by Tuesday, in case the loan doesn't go through so we have some extra time to find other opportunities. Okaaaay. I'd rather not rush around way early in the morning, after three hours of sleep, and have you bitch at me to hurry up and blah, blah like I know you will. Yes, I don't want to lose all our stuff either, and I will if I have to, I'd just rather not. Is it not possible to do it Wednesday? Oh, no, you have to work Wednesday. How could I have forgotten. So do I. I have to work Tuesday as it happens. Which is why all this has to be done so early. Wonderful. Perfect.

You know, if you had come to me sooner, this might not be such a big problem. I've told you on several occasions that I don't mind helping out around here financially if it's needed. But you have to be a stubborn, independent Aries!

In other news the Fates have decided to aspire against me or something. Cassie's power went out last night. They're having crazy weather over there. It was back on last I checked (around 5am Central time), but still flickering occasionally. So she may or may not be around at all today.
